Find something that you value at many different aspects in your life. A pair of small round bangles was given to me as a gift from my grandmother. At the age around 80, She didn?t want to wear any jewellery and gave away all. My grandfather and mother, with whom I was so much attached mentally that my thought, belief, views all took a shape in a way that me the person who I am is partially was built by them. Their simple way of life and very simple happy everyday life influenced me so many ways whenever I see and I wear the bangles I feel I am very blessed with this very special gift. My grandmother was an illiterate woman and grew up in a very strong conservative Muslim family, early 2oth century she was born in a village grew up in a culture and time when a noble Muslim woman was not permitted walk beyond her home yard. I remember when she came to visit our home in Dhaka the capital city of Bangladesh, she wore a full body cover the black burka, a pair of black hand gloves, a pair of socks and it was very hard to see her eyes through the head Vail. I many time asked her how she could make it in a very hot humid day dressing up like that and, had a journey around 7 or eight hours. She smiled and said us ?don?t worry, time will change when you grow up, just study well, and study well so you can have a life as you desire. She knew a number of Quran verses but didn?t know how to read the Quran. She knew many poems that she learnt from her children when they studied for school. One thing she used to tell me, always be happy and satisfy what you have and be thankful to Allah for what he grants for you. When I was a kid I had problem in walking, on that time once my grandmother asked my father she had a a spiritual man who have miracle power to cure so I she wanted to take me to him , I was 12 years old and I was sent to her, when everybody fell into sleep she woke me up and we walk a long way in the middle of night ,passed through the meadow, vast paddy field and reached in a house yard that was crowed but dim lightening and the smel l of incense stick and burning candle, the place was very smoky its was like a circled meeting first with men then with women. The men was in kind of mental state he did not look to anybody but answer or sometime ask to people who are present I so wonder how a lady who never walked outside she every Thursday mid-night made alone this journey and surprising I found latter in my life she also highly enjoyed that four night walking all that long way to go and come . Only a lamp she When I feel sad or frustrated about something I think about back of my life my parents my grandmother specially her and her time. I feel very fortunate, this gift an inspiration to me.

LinkedIn Is it for Everyone Even Yoga Teachers When I get interviewed or just talk to people about LinkedIn, one question I often get is, â€Å"Does everyone need a LinkedIn profile? Are there some professions where you don’t need one?† I typically respond that there are some job titles where having a LinkedIn profile is not essential for a job search. Nursery school teachers and plumbers might not find their jobs through LinkedIn, nor, probably, will nurses or doctors- at least not right now. And I still recommend that people have a profile. Why? For one thing, the professional world is constantly changing. Seven years ago, I was telling lawyers that LinkedIn was not the most important place for them to be for their job search. Lawyers are notoriously slow to catch on to emerging technology (most firms insisted on using the dinosaur WordPerfect for years after everyone else had switched to Word). But now most attorneys I encounter find value in LinkedIn, both in the realm of job search and for networking purposes. Why Yoga Teachers Need LinkedIn Profiles One profession that might not be an obvious choice for LinkedIn success is â€Å"yoga instructor.† But LinkedIn posted a blog on March 7 about Rebecca Mayne, a woman who built a thriving yoga business using †¦ yep, you guessed it †¦ LinkedIn. Rebecca did something many yoga teachers fail to do: she created a LinkedIn profile. Soon she discovered that yoga studio owners were looking on LinkedIn for teachers. They hired her! She then built her network by connecting on LinkedIn with her students, which led to a private session at someone’s workplace, followed by classes for the organization’s employees. Not only has Rebecca’s corporate yoga business exploded, but she is now training new teachers to do what she does. She was able to do all that because of LinkedIn. And I’m willing to bet that when a corporation is interested in hiring her, the first thing they do is look at her LinkedIn profile. What About Other Professions? A March 9 article from Wellesley College’s newsletter explored this issue as well. Overall, Wellesley students reported that they found the LinkedIn alumni group to be very useful in their networking efforts. One public health student, Sophie Gilbert, reported meeting with 10 alumnae for coffee, which gave her huge value as she was learning about her field. She also regularly reaches out to Wellesley alumnae in organizations that interest her- a practice that could very well lead to a job after graduation. Says Sophie, â€Å"LinkedIn can be quite helpful for public health even though there is no specific group for it. You can search for degrees like [Master’s in Public Health] or keywords that have to do with public health and find tons of alumnae who are working in this very broad field. Other than speaking with professors at Wellesley, LinkedIn is all there is for networking in public health.† Sophie Kerwin, in contrast, is a student curatorial research assistant interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Art History, leading to a career in academic or curatorial work. She has not found LinkedIn to be valuable in pursuing an academic career in art history. Still, she has found it useful as a way to track the career paths of other academics and curators. She has followed a best practice of modeling her profile after theirs, a strategy I recommend highly. â€Å"More people from the museum world are utilizing professional networking sites, but few people from the academic world utilize them,† she said. â€Å"Most of the networking I’ve done in both fields has been in person [or] through connections I’ve made at Wellesley either in the Art Department or at the Davis Museum.† I agree, based on my experience, that the academic and art worlds have not embraced LinkedIn as fully as have some other professions. But that doesn’t mean they won’t, perhaps even within the next year. Why LinkedIn Can Be for Everyone For everyone, regardless of profession, LinkedIn can be a place to learn, network and explore. There are groups for almost every profession, and if there’s not a group for yours then you can start one. I’ll bet that â€Å"if you build it, they will come.† As the Wellesley article stated, â€Å"†¦ the site cannot replace other means of networking such as developing in-person connections or creating accounts with career-specific websites.† But that doesn’t mean you should not create a profile and milk it for all it’s worth.

The 5 Hour Plan If you have five hours to study and you haven’t studied at all before now, you should use your time to take an SAT practice test. This will help you get more comfortable with the format of the test and the types of questions to expect.You can improve your scores slightly just by taking a practice test! To add, there are several stimulus packages the companies would qualify for (such as the economic tax credit) by doing business in America. Also, their profit would increase. The U.S. dollar is more than Yens. So, they would be making twice as much money in the U.S. on the same product sold in China at a cheaper rate. And, the cost to ship would decrease, because the companies would not have to pay duties on products being shipped within the United States. Strong and favorable associations have already been created in the minds, due to the secondary association of the corporate brand Videocon. However, the uniqueness association is still evolving. This model says that consumer based brand equity happens when consumers provide a differential response to marketing activities of the brand, and talks about how consumer knowledge affects their response to those marketing activities due to the brand equity. The base of the pyramid model talks about Brand Salience. Salience is the measure of how frequently the brand is evoked under various situations. We believe that the brand has a low salience chiefly due to the fact that it is a young brand has not got enough time to build brand equity. Also, it seems that the marketing spend by competitors is much bigger in terms of above the line communication. Albeit, one can say, that the name Videocon itself is a potent cue for brand recall. Brand performance is what the firm tells customers about the brand in their communications. So this will mean how the brand will perform, what features it will provide, and how the customer can benefit from its use. Brand performance includes dimensions that differentiate the brand. D2H differentiates itself by offering more regional channels, more total channels and bundled services as shown above in the pyramid. To start with, a vast number of neighborhoods suffer from gradual increase of criminal activities. Black teenagers still build their own street-based gangs that provoke crime. From 1950 ti ll 1956 the Los Angeles police department was commanded by Chief William Parker, who ran a police department as a military unit. He was extremely strict about preserving initial border lines between the neighborhoods. Thus, the cops were treating criminals as if they were animals in warfare.Such behavior and control enhanced the feeling of alienation in black American’s. There are invisible barriers and the primary job of police officers was to reinforce that barrier, because one was supposed to stay in his neighborhood Nevertheless, these tasks were brutal and violent.For instance, the people could have been shot by making the wrong turn into the wrong intersection. People were shot in the back, because police wanted to prevent looting. Similarly, Black Americans cherished the idea of American dream and equal opportunities. They did not want to have the low-end jobs because they felt these jobs were jobs that American citizens should not have.Nevertheless, it was even impossible. According to the strain theory, although society establishes the goals, for some people, social structure blocks achieving them. Thus, black people could not even choose where to live, although they could afford it.For instance, in the LA county region, there was an effort to keep white neighborhoods free from blacks. The gang was created to counterattack your enemy. It is also a matter of self-defense and a constant battle for superiority.The member of the gang will say they joined a gang not only for the protection but also for the family and for the love. The gang became a sort of family unit. In addition, state significantly contributed to such criminal behavior by legalizing guns. As youngsters in poor neighborhoods received their own guns, they joined gangs and started to threat and shoot each other.Parents also play a tremendous role in shaping values and behavior of their children. A lot of minds are messed up, because they do not have necessary parental support. In addition, there was an absence of the male father figure and role model in the home.Boys were taught to be men by fighting and killing each ot her. Young males were often misguided. As a result, a majority of African-American males were jailed or imprisoned. Unemployment provoked criminal situation. At the same time, these criminal activities are now being tackled. The grassroots movements are taking the first steps to battling the street violence.At the end of the documentary we hear wise words that summarize the whole movie. In our democracy we have the resources for the richest country on earth and it is absolutely outrageous, it is inexcusable that we have failed to meet the most elementary test of what it means to be fellow citizens and build a community.Therefore, the main ingredient of success is to start caring about other people. All in all, â€Å"Crips and Bloods: made in America† is a documentary that provides valuable information about criminal activity that can be backed up by social theories.Strain theories can perfectly explain gang activity and gang violence. Thus, diverse constrains, such as extreme police control or restricted borders enhanced hostility within black communities and accumulated hatred that was later exercised in the form of violence.Social learning theories also prove that the lack of effective parental control negatively impacts young boys, who join gangs from the young age. Overall, there are many reasons for such deviant behavior and there is much to be done to address this issue effectively.

ABS is among the most important safety systems in a vehicle. In automatic highway system, automatic brake actuation is a very important part of the overall vehicle control system. It prevents the wheel lock-up under critical braking conditions, such as those encountered with wet or slippery road surfaces and driver panic reaction (Bosch, 1995). By preventing the wheel lock-up, ABS ensures that the vehicle remains responsive to steering wheel inputs. Reduced stopping distance on account of ABS is more evident on wet or slippery road surfaces (Garrick et al., 1998). 1.2 MODEL BASED DESIGN Designers of embedded control system software face difficult challenges. In addition to the need to complete projects at low cost and within tight schedules, embedded control system software designers must prov ide predictable performance and competitive features for the products they deliver. Traditional methods of designing, testing, and implementing embedded control systems cause designers to wait until late in the design effort, when actual or prototype products and real-time embedded targets become available, to find out if software really works as it was intended to. Only then, as system integration occurs, can the designer uncover the errors that may have found their way into the product during the early design stages. Model-Based Design with MathWorks tools provides a proven technique for creating embedded control systems. It is used today for satellites, aircraft, and many other aerospace applications, in the automotive industry, and for process control, computer peripherals and industrial machinery. Through Model-Based Design, embedded control system design teams can begin evaluating software designs without using prototype products and real-time targets. The MathWorks environmen t for Model-Based Design allows engineers to mathematically model the behavior of the physical system, design the software and model its behavior, and then simulate the entire system model to accurately predict and optimize performance. The system model becomes a specification from which you can automatically generate real-time software for testing, prototyping, and embedded implementation, thus avoiding manual effort and reducing the potential for errors.
